Mind And Beyond

I Believe in Miracles

I’ll be honest with you—there was a time I didn’t believe in miracles. Life felt like a series of things I had to manage, fix, or survive. If something good happened, I’d call it “luck.” If something bad happened, well, I’d just deal with it.

But over the years, life changed me. Or maybe I just slowed down enough to start noticing things I hadn’t before. A few too many “coincidences” that came at the perfect time. A gut feeling that led me exactly where I needed to be. A moment of peace that made no logical sense.

So yeah, that is when I stopped ignoring those strange and magical moments, and  started saying it out loud: I believe in miracles for sure.

Miracles Aren’t What You Think

The fact is, when people hear the word “miracle,” they usually picture something huge. They picture something huge walking on water or a lightning bolt from the sky. But I’ve found that miracles are usually quiet. Yes, they are quite and personal.

Miracle is that feeling you get when you get lose lost in your mind and then suddenly, you feel calm for no reason. Or when you hear some motivating words when you are just about to give up. Yes, that’s the kind of miracle I’m talking about. (Read: The mystery of fate and free will)

I believe in miracles because I’ve seen how life shifts the second I stop trying to figure it all out and just let things be for a moment.

The Mind Likes the Known—But Miracles Don’t Live There

Ok, now here is a bit about the science of miracles. Here’s something I’ve learned the tough way, after struggling a lot: the more I try to control everything, the more stuck I feel. Yes, the reality is that My mind is great at organizing things, solving problems, and making plans—but it’s not great at letting go.

And miracles? They don’t happen in that tight, controlled space. They show up when we loosen our grip.

When I’m not obsessing over outcomes… when I’m not stuck in what I think should happen… that’s when the unexpected flows in. That’s when the phone rings and it’s the opportunity I didn’t even know I needed. That’s when I bump into someone who changes the whole direction of my day—or my life.

I say it again, and I mean it every time: I believe in miracles. Not because I understand how they work, but because I’ve lived through them.

The truth is, you can’t “earn” a miracle. You can’t chase one down or build it like a piece of furniture. It’s not something you muscle your way into.

In my experience, miracles tend to arrive when you’re tired. When you’ve tried everything, done your best, and finally say, “Okay, I don’t know what else to do.” That’s the doorway. (Read: Are you having a god complex?)

That’s when something deeper takes over. A whisper of intuition. A weird sense that things are going to be okay. A friend appearing out of nowhere with just the right words. These things feel small—but they’re not. They’re life reaching back.

It’s in those moments that I smile quietly to myself and think, Yep. I believe in miracles.

Conclusion: I Believe In Miracles, Do You?

The thing is, I’m not asking anyone to blindly believe in something they have never felt. In fact, all I’m saying is that we should stay open. That’s all. Stay open to the idea that not everything has to make perfect sense for it to be real.

If you’re reading this, maybe you’ve already seen your own small miracles. Or maybe you’re still waiting for one. Either way, just know this: the unknown isn’t something to be afraid of. It’s where all the magic begins.

We don’t need to understand everything to feel deeply supported by life. We just need to pause. Listen. Be present. That’s often enough.

So yeah, I’ll say it again—I believe in miracles. Because life has shown me, again and again, that there’s more going on than I can see. And every time I trust that… something beautiful happens.
